an oasis of the quality and traditional flavours
Sorico is a charming small town that represents the connection between Lario, Valtellina and Valchiavenna. Romeo Landi, one of the last remaining fishermen on the lake and chef at the La Beccaccino restaurant, has restored a family property and converted it to a modern, welcoming place, managed by Stefania, that fits in with the territory. Romeo’s kitchen is first and foremost, kilometre zero: the raw materials are obtained from the area in which the restaurant is located, and the dishes are prepared with fish caught by Romeo the same day. His passion for cooking he inherited from his family, and he continues to focus on research, interpreting past flavours, and putting them in a more modern context to meet a demanding palate. The restaurant also offers dishes prepared for those with food allergies. Finally, the location of the restaurant is of course strategic, being immersed in a natural oasis where you can spend your days in peace and relaxation just a few steps from the lake and from Colico.
